Siemplify, a security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) platform provider, has launched the Partner First worldwide channel program for MSSPs, value-added resellers (VARs), large account resellers (LARs) and systems integrators (SIs). In addition, Siemplify plans to triple its partner base, according to a prepared statement.Partner First offers deal registration, training and various tools and resources to help Siemplify partners sell SOAR solutions, the company said. It also features a partner portal that provides lead sharing, document access and sales and technical enablement capabilities.Automatic data collection and alert triage. Interactive threat investigation and response. Security operations metrics and reporting. Security playbooks. Siemplify's SOAR platform also can be integrated with more than 180 security technologies.Increasing Security Alerts: Security teams receive an average of 174,000 alerts per week, yet they only can respond to about 12,000 of these alerts. Slow Incident Response: The average mean time to respond (MTTR) to a security incident is 4.4 days. Limited Personnel: Seventy-nine percent of cybersecurity professionals said they do not have sufficient security operations center (SOC) staff in place. Inadequate Security Training: It takes an average of eight months to train security analysts to be effective. Complex Security Tools: Seventy-five percent of cybersecurity professionals said working with multiple security tools was fairly/very challenging. Lack of Security Metrics: Forty-two percent of cybersecurity professionals said they do not have a system in place to track incident response metrics.
