CyberHat, an Israeli cyber defense startup that supports MSP, has raised $6 million in a funding led by venture capital firm Mangrove Capital Partners. The company will use the funding to expand globally and enhance its CYREBRO security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) platform, according to a prepared statement.CYREBRO is a "smart SOCaaS" platform, CyberHat indicated. It tracks, locates and responds to cyber events in real-time and is backed by security analysts who perform threat detection, analysis and remediation.Furthermore, CYREBRO uses a "quality alerting" process to minimize false-positive notifications, CyberHat noted. It also offers cyber threat intelligence and forensic capabilities. Two versions of CYREBRO are currently available: CYREBRO Core and CYREBRO One. CYREBRO Core incorporates SOC capabilities into a customer's existing security information and event management (SIEM) solution, while CYREBRO One offers a turnkey SOCaaS platform for organizations that do not have an SIEM solution or data collection technologies in place.
