MSSP Cerberus Sentinel has acquired Ground Control IT, a help desk and managed IT services provider. In this deal, Ground Control will become part of Cerberus and continue to focus on delivering integrated risk managed services to customers, according to the companies. In addition, Ground Control President Ryan Greyslak will transition to VP of managed services for Cerberus.Desktop and server maintenance Email spam protection and encryption Hardware failure support Network and antivirus monitoring Virtualization Furthermore, Ground Control provides support with operating systems, network configurations and wireless equipment, the company said. It also offers a free network assessment to help organizations identify potential vulnerabilities and explore upgrades. Along with Ground Control, Cerberus in August 2020 purchased MSSP Technologyville. Also, Cerberus in July 2020 merged with TalaTek, an integrated risk management firm. TalaTek operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cerberus and provides integrated risk management services to federal government and private sector organizations.
