Phishing Defense for SMBs: Cofense Launches MSSP Partner Program -

Cofense, a phishing defense solutions provider and Top 10 Security Awareness Training Firm for 2019, has launched a partner program that allows MSSPs to address cyberattacks against small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). In addition, Cofense is seeking MSSPs that offer a managed security services practice with automated monthly billing, a security operations center (SOC), a help desk and e-ticketing and monthly security reports to join its partner program.

Cofense MSSP partners can access phishing training to help them identify evolving cyber threats, report suspicious emails in SMB customer inboxes and generate threat intelligence, the company said. They also can receive reports to show SMB customers the value of their security investments.

Cofense currently offers the following anti-phishing solutions:

Intelligence: Monitors spam and malware to help an organization identify cyber threat patterns and trends.

Learning Management System (LMS): Provides cybersecurity educational content and resources.

PhishMe: Uses phishing simulations to teach an organization's employees about business email compromise (BEC), HTTPS spoofing, ransomware and attachment-based cyberattacks.

Reporter: Enables an organization's employees to send suspicious emails to a security team for analysis and remediation.

Triage: Provides phishing-specific orchestration, automation and response to help an organization stop active phishing attacks.

Vision: Allows an organization to find and quarantine phishing emails.

Cofense's anti-phishing solutions help incident response teams quickly analyze and respond to targeted phishing attacks, the company stated. They are built on Cofense's Anti-Phishing Platform and interrupt the cyberattack chain, and as such, help organizations address phishing attacks before they escalate.

Introducing Cofense CloudSeeker

Cofense in June announced CloudSeeker, a free cloud discovery utility that allows organizations to identify configured cloud services.

CloudSeeker helps an organization determine if its corporate domain has been used to configure software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications, the company said. It provides visibility into cyber exposures caused by unsanctioned cloud services and requires no credentials or personally identifiable information (PII) to operate.

Cofense offers incident response technologies that deliver employee-sourced cyber threat intelligence to help organizations combat email-based cyberattacks. The company has recorded cumulative growth of more than 429 percent over the last three years and continues to take steps to accelerate its expansion.
