SecurityBridge Launches AI-Powered Tool to Analyze ABAP Code Vulnerabilities

Code Vulnerability Detection: Magnifying Glass Approach

SecurityBridge has introduced a new AI-powered Code Vulnerability Analyzer (CVA) aimed at helping SAP developers and security teams address risks in custom ABAP code more effectively. The tool is part of the company’s broader SAP-native cybersecurity platform and reflects a growing demand for automation in enterprise security environments.

The CVA brings two key features into focus. First, it helps users understand complex ABAP code by breaking it down into accessible summaries—a benefit for teams that may not have deep ABAP expertise. Second, it offers detailed descriptions of potential security vulnerabilities, including critical functions and modules at risk, along with suggested remediation strategies. These capabilities are designed to speed up the SAP change management process and make secure coding practices easier to apply in day-to-day development.

For SAP security teams, the tool provides deeper integration with SecurityBridge’s existing monitoring modules. This connection allows users to prioritize vulnerabilities in actively used code and act on them directly from the interface. The result is a more seamless workflow between vulnerability discovery and resolution, aligned with broader goals of proactive risk mitigation.

The CVA will be available as part of SecurityBridge’s 6.34 platform release and is included under the existing license at no additional cost. As organizations look to tighten defenses against increasingly complex threats, integrating AI into code analysis workflows offers a timely and practical step toward improving SAP security without adding friction to development cycles.
