Semperis Launches Ready1 to Tackle Gaps in Cyber Crisis Management

Most organizations believe they’re prepared for cyber emergencies, but a new global survey reveals a different picture—showing a large gap between perceived readiness and actual response capabilities. In response, Semperis has introduced Ready1, a centralized platform designed to streamline cyber crisis management and strengthen enterprise resilience when disruptions hit.

The launch of Ready1 aligns with findings from Semperis’ newly published State of Enterprise Cyber Crisis Readiness report. The study, based on responses from 1,000 organizations worldwide, found that while 96% have a crisis response plan in place, 71% still experienced at least one high-impact cyber event that disrupted business operations last year.

The most frequently cited blockers to effective response weren’t staffing shortages but rather internal coordination issues. These include cross-team communication gaps, outdated response plans, and tool fragmentation. For example, enterprises often rely on more than 20 separate tools to manage crisis response—slowing down workflows and creating operational friction during critical moments.

Ready1 addresses these challenges by consolidating crisis response functions into a single, secure platform. It offers real-time dashboards, integrated communication and task tracking, and automated playbooks to guide organizations through incident response—from preparation to after-action review. The platform also supports continuous readiness through testing scenarios, role-based coordination, and post-incident learnings.
