The collaboration introduces two new integrations that combine Veeam’s data protection capabilities with CrowdStrike’s real-time threat intelligence to enhance visibility, detection, and response across enterprise environments.

At the core of the partnership is the integration of the Veeam Data Platform with CrowdStrike Falcon’s security suite. This enables security and IT teams to gain centralized visibility of backup-related activity within Falcon LogScale and Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. The new Veeam App for Falcon LogScale offers pre-configured dashboards and real-time alerts, while the Veeam Data Connector extends log visibility and contextual analysis of backup events, helping teams connect the dots between data changes and potential security threats.

Real-Time Alerts and Streamlined Operations

These integrations are designed to surface critical events faster. Security teams can leverage automated alerts and predefined queries to identify anomalies during backups—such as unusual entropy levels or indicators of compromise—without disrupting operations. This allows SOC analysts to act swiftly on ransomware threats and suspicious behavior with intelligence derived from both data protection and endpoint monitoring systems.

Full-Cycle Resilience Against Cyberattacks

The Veeam Data Platform reinforces security before, during, and after an incident. Tools like Recon Scanner proactively identify threats before backup jobs run, while inline scanning techniques defend against known malware and behavioral threats during the process. In the event of an attack, Veeam Threat Hunter accelerates recovery by pinpointing the last known clean restore point. For cases requiring escalation, the Cyber Secure program offers specialist support from Veeam and Coveware to help manage response and recovery operations.

The integrations are available now to advanced and premium users of the Veeam Data Platform and can be accessed directly from the CrowdStrike Marketplace.
